Since 1968, the vision of the Quebec Black Board of Education (QBBE) is to be a teaching, learning and research institution that advocates for the academic needs of Quebec’s multicultural/intercultural communities and to be at the forefront of change by addressing the blind spots and implicit biases in the educational system.
Since 1968, the vision of the Quebec Board of Black Educators (QBBE) is to be a teaching, learning and research institution that advocates for the academic needs of Quebec’s multicultural intercultural communities and to be at the forefront of change by addressing the blind spots and implicit biases in the educational system.
The QBBE will participate in #GivingTuesday on 30 November 2021. Giving Tuesday is a day dedicated to generosity and giving back to communities worldwide.
All donations made on #GivingTuesday will go toward funding our affordable academic programs for Montreal students. Our academic summer programs, such as DaCosta Hall and BANA, have served over 15,000 students over the past 50 years, and since the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded our education programs to include year-round academic support through our online Fall and Spring academic support programs.
No Student Left Behind
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. With your help, we can continue to provide affordable academic support to children in our communities, helping us to close the gap in educational inequality.
Do you prefer to donate items directly to the QBBE?
Geenees allows you to order directly from our wishlist, and the items are shipped directly to our office. Currently, we are seeking items that can be used to create a classroom for our elementary students to take courses, do homework, and achieve educational attainment in a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Have a look at our wishlist, and perhaps grant us a wish!
